I respect the decision made by the central delegates at the MCA EGM yesterday. The results have sent certain messages which I could see are now being interpreted in the press by different parties in many ways.

I have also received many feedback, appeals and advice, which I truly appreciate. The Central Committee will discuss all avenues and angles regarding the results and the immediate future of the party.

I take full responsibility for the outcome of the EGM and will act in the best interests of the Party after consultation with my colleagues and supporters and the deliberations of the next Central Committee meeting.

Datuk Seri Ong,

I am a MCA member but never invited to any meeting and not even my membership card, please give the power to elect leadership to us(somebody like me) and not the few thousands delegate whom not represent the view of all MCA members, as for now listen to people voice and not UMNO to make any decision to resign, honour may be important but future of Chinese in the hand of BN is utmost important, please use your wisdom.

i recalled once that you have mentioned to me that you are reading this book too. although i have not finished the book yet, i am quit confidence that you are as smart as Ji and can handle this mess and overturn the unfortunate results by the unwise central delegates.

Dato,

Let be positive of the outcome, sometime it maybe good to have such a result...
Your character of being vocal and not tolerance which we hardly find or see from other MCA leadership especially. This is your weakness, but also a strenght which we respect you and hope to see you maintain such charater. But as long as MCA remain in BN, i doubt u can do anything becoz whatever UMNO decision is consder final and nocody can challenge. Nobody going to like u and will pull your leg and furthermore your camdrade also have their own agenda individually, so what can u do if u still remain in the leadership?

Although u lose in the MCA poll, but i believe majority of the Chinese community sure will vote for you inside their heart. So never limit yourself to only MCA cos it no longer "valid" in most of the people...

Being yourself and wishing you all the best.
STAY ON -- Ong Tee Keat

Dear President 翁詩傑:

"STAY ON" and fight (fight for us) if you think that you are doing all the right things for all Chinese Malaysians (the deserving Malaysians).

For example, when an action taken by your presidency is genuinely good for all of us and you did it wholeheartedly to preserve the Constitutional rights of our future generations -- "STAY ON".

Malaysia needs a STRONG LEADER and a "STRONG PROTECTOR" – the one who has this quality and, yet, capable in executing those timely at the time of crisis when he is call upon. You are one such CHARISMATIC LEADER --- a brave one indeed and I urge you to STAY ON -- to fight for the future generations.

Don't give-up without a fight. The MCA Party Constitution ought to be respected but remember -- it is just a stack of "documents".

The death of a "good leader" will make all deserving Chinese Malaysians mourn.

You exposed the corrupt few and the "hidden hands" want to bring your presidency down. The hidden forces did it to a strong leader such as the legendary President Tan Koon Swan. You must not kowtow to these hidden hands/forces. STAY ON.

I am an activist for International human rights working from a base in Canada and I will make sure Chinese Malaysians' Constitutional rights and freedoms are forever protected --- for our young and bright children of Malaysia and this letter is the least I can do to keep your fighting spirits up -- 翁詩傑.

The decision made by the delegates does not represent all the MCA members of the whole country. They are only representing only a handful of MCA members. Only about 2,000 over delegates. What do they know. Most of them are politician, local assemblymen, ketua kg. district councillors. Very little ordinary MCA members. Don't resign. I am an ordinary MCA member. Cannot be a delegate because of dirty tactics of local district. So the delegates decision does not represent our decision. Try making a whole country survey for all MCA members. Please, please don't resign

You as the PREY of the POLITICAL SNIPERs
written by 小社民, October 12, 2009
I as a ordinary citizen without any political background strongly feel that the DARK FORCE OR so called "Third Force" should be named "THE RATs FORCE" because they choose to live and hide to snipe their prey without concerning any mercy to Chinese Communities.

Dear Ong, I was wondering in my mind, do you dare to let THE RATs FORCE to lead MCA and represent Chinese or do you think the Chinese Communities need THE RATs FORCE to educate our's generation and you are agree that they are able to reform a healty and clean MCA.

I think that MCA is represent Chinese Communities and not MCA's members only, then
Do you still remember what is your promises to the Chinese Community?
Had you fulfill all you words to Chinese communities? If not yet why you go???
I disagree that all MCA's members aim for "Mau Cari Angpau" and big tree for sure with deadwood, but the overall perception for THE RATs FORCE is like "Mari Cari Angpau"

I as a small dust of the Chinese Commuities, Unwilling to witness MCA to TOMB.
Dear Ong do reconsider, reconsider and reconsider because you are not just fight for your big name but for our's next generation and Chinese's communities future!!

Dear Datuk Seri.

Yes, the result of the EGM is surprising. You have said you will resign if the votes are against you. Before you decide on it, you have consider this:

1. There are bigger things than just MCA. If you go now, then MCA will withdraw back into its shell. The Chinese community had big expectation from you. You cannot break the hope now

2. You are leading the charge to better transparency and accountability. The old MCA is not comfortable with it.
They have been using the cloak of secrecy to line their pockets. They cannot accept this change. This is not acceptable to the us. You must stay to change MCA. You must finish what you started.

3. You cannot leave now. If you do, MCA will in future lack the spirit and courage to speak up. MCA spirit will be broken. This is the beginning of the end for MCA. The Chinese community will totally reject MCA.

Amongst the MCA leaders, you are the one with the indomitable spirit and the determination to take MCA into the future. You have the stubbornness to follow through. You are tough enough to take on the old guards. These old guards are the enemy of MCA.

After the MCA EGM, an observation was made. It was said that the Chua’s faction should have proposed only the first two resolutions. It was reasoned that if Resolution 2 was adopted i.e. the presidential council’s decision be annulled, Chua’s membership and deputy president post would have been accordingly restored. There was no need for Resolution 3.

As it turned out, with the adoption of Resolution 2 and the rejection of Resolution 3, Chua is now denied of the deputy president post though restored as a member.

I see a more interesting possibility. What if Resolution 2 was rejected but Resolution 3 was adopted instead by the delegates? What then? Chua would not be restored as a member but is ‘rightfully’ restored as a deputy president. How could this be carried out?

You may argue that if a delegate rejects Resolution 2, he / she would have also rejected Resolution 3. That’s wisdom. Frankly, I don’t see much of that in the delegates based on the results of the concluded EGM.

THUS, am I right to think that there is a built-in fault in Resolutions 2 and 3? Does it then make the MCA EGM on 10-10-09 null and void? I guess this is a possibility that both contending factions would like to seriously explore now.

That should be the correct slogan for use by soi lek, the traitor to his party. The delegates might have spoken but we the voters will have the last say. Come election time we will not vote for MCA, if people like soi lek, chai ho & gang are in power.
