I am not surprised that the smear tactics and character assassination against me had picked up pace especially with the latest revelations by the PKFZ Task Force.

If indeed I have received pecuniary and financial benefits for myself or the Party, there will be more reasons for me to protect the interests of the givers, as opposed to proceeding to expose their misdeeds. By doing so, I am risking my personal and family safety as well as my own credibility.

The allegation by Dato’ Seri Tiong King Sing that I have taken the RM10 million "loan" from him for use by the Party's divisions, are obviously made with several motives, including diverting attention away from the alleged irregularities exposed by the Task Force. It could also be meant to create suspicion among my Party comrades that I have pocketed funds meant for the divisions. The fact that he indicated that it was a loan could mean that he wants the option of taking me to court to further embarrass me.

The period mentioned by Dato' Seri Tiong was 2008, during which I was vice-president until I assumed the presidency in October. The need for me as vice-president to raise money for the divisions was a non-starter. Later, as President, we already have access to party funds and allocations. I doubt any reasonable person would part with RM10 million based on such a story.

I am very glad that Dato' Faisal Abdullah has admitted that those jets have been chartered by my office. This clearly indicates that I don’t accept privileges. If I have to, and am willing to pay for plane rides, I clearly do not accept bribes or favours.

In any case, my office has yet to receive invoices for the services rendered. If the charter company has been more efficient, I am sure my office would have already made prompt payments. I am sure businesses do not issue invoices through the press.

I will consult my lawyers and seek legal advice on the defamatory allegations.

I treat this latest obstacle as one of the challenges I have to go through. In no way will it deter me to ensure that the PKFZ issue be resolved in the best interest of the Government and the people. I also ask that I be judged based on my actions.

YB Datuk Seri,

I am sure the hottest topic for the coming few days will be focused on the allegation made by DS TKS towards your goodself. Despite of discussing on the so called 'motive or hidden agenda' in DS TKS's allegation, as a member of party, i prefer to see it's worst impact and consequence towards the MCA party which has been linked directly in this matter. Personally i feel that YB Datuk Seri has made a good cutting line in denying the allegation towards MCA where you are only elected as the party President after October 08. But lets see what will YB Lim Kit Siang or other opposition leaders say in sooner and we can't deny the possibility that this topic will be strongly manipulated by some of your politic rivals. I believe that your courage to clarify this matter is highly praised and accepted by the majority of your party members in generally but please utilize your good wisdom to protect the MCA party from any defamatory allegations because the party still in the reform process and not in the strongest position yet to face any serious damaging. If YB Datuk Seri view to Malaysia Kini's report on this particular issue, u might be surprised that there are more than 20 comments from public till 1.30am and some of the comment is so irrational and consider damaging to MCA, while i m only the first one to post my view in your blog. There are so many other bloggers writing their respectively view on this issue throughout the net and is not easy for u do estimate how serious it will harm the party. In fact, i m also feel a bit disappointed that not many party members post their view in your blog especially in Mandarin Version and it is a fact that some of our grass root members are still losing their direction and too 'self-benefited' or 'self-interested'. Thus, i hope the PKFZ issue should be handling well for the sake of the party beyond any individual interest or agenda, and most vital part is the best solution to enhance or maximize its space usage....this is the hope from rakyat. Any further dispute will only benefited some particular individual.
Regards,
PungWH

Not ready much people believe 100million allegation I don't thing this to push for EGM. It just TKS keeping tarnishing his own image, most feel this money dirty, from corrupt work. The TKS money talk action I view as advertisment to buy vote for EGM, but is there urgency for EGM?
It is because of 308, because of what the previous president attempt, the time being the common practise and party culture has stuck at the peak, the progress are sluggish while the loop hole grow fast, change is a demand when people feel hopeless with current situation, 1 vote dun means much result disaster lost, follow with turn Down Ong Brother Private Limited Campaign.(Most people join this because they saw you were at second line of leadership.)We need change, we want the leader with great knowledge, holding principle and visions to steer wheel, drive party to new direction, better way to share the power and new politic-business culture. New Discipline practice is the hope to re-install the party image and to cut the rotten branch. We know the action against your deputy carry agenda, but we learn from past incident, 50-50 the party may in dispute of leadership in future, much people keep watching, your action now are sees as need and necessary, friendly speaking. But now, much of move on discipline matter are gather the cloud thicker, are discipline matter no1 treat and demand in the party. Historically common practice and culture has drag much member into the pool of swamp. people wonder the discipline guideline, the bottom ?, manner in recorded tracking in question, how far? Perhaps your amnesty was right time a relief, for those fighting to survive, after losing their image, their special right, their old lust money making practice! Dato; I believe this is the current sentiment, feeling among.EGM is depress emotion! You need to clarify this deep and length! It there is the Perak state by election coming, it is your now to put your man back to seat! People vote you!

Yes, you're right. This allegations and smear campaign are the works of desperate people trying to hide their misdeed. Keep up the good work, YB Ong. You have my 100% support.
