Mr President,
I absolutely disagree with Mr Cheah's comment in asking u to step down.Do Mr Cheah want those who betray u to take over your place. We the rakyat are not stupid. We fully know what r u fighting for. Those who betray u r only fighting for their self interest. So Mr President just ignore this Mr Cheah. - JWong

Dear Dato',

It is sad that you are currently in the midst of some internal conflict within MCA and I hope this will end soon.

Please fight for the rights of the Malaysian Chinese Community and not follow the foot-steps of MCA's previous Presidents.

Regards. - Philip

Dear Dato Sri Ong, Please take away all the cabinet post of the 14 CC members. Consult this matter with the PM and let him decide as to the new people for the new cabinet post. These CC members thought that their cabinet post are god send and not the prerogative of the PM. In Chinese they are 忘本 - Lim Ma Lee

Dato Ong,

You are the president of chinese community and you have the support of the chinese majority. The CC is trying to shake that confidence that you garnered. So continue you courageous fight, you will triump and history in time will tell that you did the right time in this turbulent time. CC is trying to shift the ground & terrain don't fall into that threat. Remember the blue ocean strategy to differentiate and turn the bleeding into leading.

Dear Datuk Seri. It is sickening to see MCA degenerated in a free for all. First, the second rank leaders and now the CC. You must exercise your prerogative to remove them. You have a strategic weakness which is that you talk tough but do not act tough. This weaken your position as President. You must learn from Tun Mahatir. He did not hesitate to act when he had too. And he did not talk a lot. Listen to Teddy Roosevelt - " Talk softly and carry a big stick". Please change your thinking. You must act and act fast. The longer this people cause trouble, the more the cancer will grow. Act Now. - Kenny G

Respect EGM outcome includes Liow and others too!

Liow Tiong Lui and those with him are hypocrites. They keep harping on OTK and CSL to "respect the EGM outcome" as a hint for them go go away quietly and for him to take advantage by raising to the presidential seat. But what Mr Liow is forgetting is that the EGM did not at any time mention anything about letting him take advantage of the situation by taking over the presidential seat by default. THE EGM DID NOT VOTE FOR YOU MR LIOW TO BE PRESIDENT. PLS RESPECT THAT. I am not a fan of MR Ong. But i cannot and will not let your actions, Mr Liow, to disgrace our beloved party. Hence i support fully Mr. Ong's stance to stay on, or at least to call for a fresh election. PLS MR. LIOW, RESPECT THE EGM DECISION THAT DID *NOT* PUT YOU IN THE PRESIDENT SEAT. Mr Liow may have convinced *some* of the CC members, but that does not mean he can easily take advantage. His act is more despicable than anything i can describe and i am seriously appalled. SINCE WHEN 22 SIGNATURES GAVE YOU, MR LIOW, THE RIGHT TO REPRESENT THE WHOLE MCA? - Kingston

Anyone with a normal IQ would know the motive behind the press conference of the 14 CC lead by LTL.
They are worry of their present position in the party and cabinet. They don't bother about the unity of the party.
Exercise your prerogative and authority under the party constitution, do whatever you think is best for the unity of the party. - TAN HIOK TIAM

i do not believe Liow TL's time to lead MCA has arrived. it is amazingly immature for him to abandon his former leader (and benefactor), and amazingly unconvincing his denial of attempting to topple Ong TK while obviously doing it. i sincerely hope the media has portrayed him wrongly.

i would not vote for MCA in my locality in the next GE. but i would vote for Ong TK if i am in Pandan. i do not want BN to form the next government. but i rather Ong TK leads MCA and Chua SL adheres to the unity plan. i would think Chua SL would redeem himself very well despite everything that has happened so far if he shows sincerity on the unity plan. the MSM and some internet portals in town may comment adversely on Ong TK, but they seem to have agenda supported by some people with big money, not by the the people out there in the streets. - IG5

I opine that the CC has to be dealt with swiftly and effectively to prevent same issues from being raised repeatedly by certain members.

The statement by certain members (of CC) are certainly not contributing to the greater unity plan as espoused by the PM and agreed to by you and Soi Lek.

Now the deputy PM has commented that “It is only proper that leaders at all levels know what the plan entails. I too want to know as a member of Barisan Nasional. Maybe we can help. It would be good if the plan was made transparent to their members and not that only some leaders know about it.

Have a joint statement with CSL on the plan. I am sure that you and the party will get the support of the grassroots.

Dear Datuk Ong,

So you have done the right things now. So to carry out the decision correctly is the next step in the reforming and for those trouble makers as you know by now, i think just have to find a time to eliminate them during the right time and put MCA stay united as 1 party and 1 leader. - ONG KIAN HU

Don't be swayed by a bunch of traitors

Datuk Seri OTK,

I thank you for staying on as the MCA President. I have high hopes on you on the MCA reform plan and the PKFZ issue. I wish you would waste no time to continue your efforts on these two things. Your decision to call for the peace truce with Datuk Seri Chua Soi Lek is a wise decision. You both are good and efficient leaders despite there are some difference in moral perceptions. You both need to put those differences aside and prioritize the welfare of Chinese communities and the unity of the party. I truly believe you both can achieve something great together. Please do not be swayed by the bunch of depicable traitors, they have personal agendas and hidden motives. They are seeking political shortcut to attain their personal interest. They do not care about the MCA unity and Chinese community welfare. What they care is when are you going to step down and give ways for them to be promoted. Imagine if these bunch of people going to lead MCA in the future, it would almost guarantee MCA to totally lose (like Gerakan Party in the last General Election) in the future General Election. Datuk Seri, please don't bet the future of MCA on the hands of these bunch of traitors! They can sell you out, they can sell the party out and sell the Chinese community out one day! By then, it will be too late to know... - Truth Seeker

Dear Datuk Seri

This is the way to go. If the two mickey mouse and one minnie mouse do not come to their senses, relieve them of their cabinet posts. There are others more qualified and suitable candidates in MCA. These three mices spent most of their time politicking rather than working for the rakyat. I you do this, they will back down and MCA will be at peace. - Kenny G

Hiya Datuk Ong, these cc members (those in the press conference yesterday regarding your peace plan according to malaysiakini) are just a bunch of trouble makers; they are trying to create confusion to the public. Luckily most Malaysians are more intelligent than that. You have to agree that most of us are indeed aware of and understand well the games that these cc members are playing.

With regards to your personal pledge that you made before the 10 October EGM, I think you have made the right decision in staying on. At least you have made the right choice by letting your ego go and placing the public’s interests as the first priority. I salute your courage and wisdom. I can assure you that you will never regret of your choice. In a few years time when you look back, you will think that you are lucky that you have stayed and have try your very best to benefit the Chinese ethnicity group; many people will remember you for this.

I can't agree more with Dato' Seri Ong that MCA should move on to focus more on how best to serve the people and let petty party squables and power struggles be a thing of the past. Although it is easier said than done, at least the leaders should show sincerity in trying their level best to realise that goal.

Although MCA is a Chinese based party I sincerely hope that it should strive to fight for a better life for all Malaysians irrespective of race and I hope that one day (hopefully sooner rather than later) there will be no more raced based political parties.Only then we can proudly say we are 1Malaysia.

Let's move on to greater things.

Do the honourable thing Dato Seri

Dato Seri,

You are the epitome of politics at work. Your interpretation of the EGM has been so skewed that it has diverted from the original intention of the EGM. Read the resolution carefully.

Resolution 1: That the members of the general assembly have no confidence in the leadership of president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat. Adopt 1155 Reject 1141

This resolution has nothing to do with Chua Soi Lek. It cannot be construed that those adopting this resolution are supporters of Chua Soi Lek. Therefore, making a pact with Chua Soi Lek should not be interpreted as having the majority support of the MCA grassroots. What it means is that majority of the delegates no longer have confidence in your leadership. Despite the constitution stating that only a two thirds majority can unseat you, that is a mere formality.

Your word should be your bond. You have pledged to resign even if the loss is that of a simple majority. You should honour that word. Anything less, will only depict you as untrustworthy. The delegates will now realise that they cannot truly believe anything that you say, as you attempt to cling on to power. I am sure that a repeat EGM will only lead to a more embarassing defeat for you.

It appears that it is a matter of the pot calling the kettle black. Your selfish ambitions of remaining as MCA president, cloaked as an attempt to unite the party, is shameful. Joining forces with a lame duck and tainted politician like Chua Soi Lek only proves your desperation.

For your sake and that of the party, you should do the honourable thing and step down. You have lost. Perio - Cheah Tien Eang
